WELCOME TO THE ACADEMY, cadet

Cadet, welcome to the Aurora Fleet Academy. The academy is a training center for recruits prior to their assignment with the fleet.  So you are new to Star Trek?  You don't know the difference between a Sovereign Class and Galaxy Class? Phasers or Photon Torpedoes?  An Orion or Ferengi?  Never fear.  The academy's mission is to provide you with links to the essential knowledge need to enjoy Star Trek Online.

AcademY EXPERIENCE

The goal of Aurora Fleet's academy is to connect incoming cadets who would like to know more about Star Trek with the fantastic knowledge base available on the internet.  Our approach is not to require newcomers to prove their value by passing academy coursework prior to joining the fleet. Instead, we present available information for you to study at your own pace.  There are no exams, but your mettle may be tested during the next fleet trivia night!

ACademy curriculum

The academy connects you to Star Trek data in segments focusing on Star Trek background and history, characters, cultures, locations, ships, and the like.  Work through each segment and study available information at your leisure.
